Multiple Subject Authorization

Obtaining another general education credential broadens a teacher's qualifications and provides greater opportunity for career advancement. The Multiple Subject Authorization makes it possible to achieve this without completing another teacher credentialing program. Comprised of just two additional classes, this authorization is designed for students that already hold a Single Subject Credential and want to teach in both multiple and single subject environments.

Single Subject Authorization

Adding an additional single subject authorization broadens a teacher's qualifications and provides greater opportunity for career advancement. The Single Subject Authorization makes it possible to achieve this without completing another teacher credentialing program. Comprised of just one additional class, this authorization is designed for students that already hold a Multiple Subject Credential that want to teach in both single and multiple subject environments at a junior high or high school level.

Autism Spectrum Disorders, Added Authorization

This program provides eligible candidates with a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) designated authorization to serve the specific needs of learners with autism. The Autism Spectrum Disorders Added Authorization allows the holder to conduct assessments, provide instruction and special education related services to individuals with a primary disability of autism. The authorization is approved by California's Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
