Brandman University is proud to be partnered with The New York Center for Teacher Development, Inc. (NYCTD). NYCTD has a wide variety of course offerings that provide a positive educational impact. Activities and assignments focus on how to integrate newly acquired knowledge, skills, techniques and strategies into the classroom.
A note from NYCTD:
We believe that children deserve the best from the significant adults in their lives. Thus, teachers need to be able to inspire, manage, model, share knowledge, challenge, motivate, and create a caring learning environment within their classroom. A school should be a community of learners which develops the strengths in every student and allows each of its members to feel valued and accepted.
It is our goal to create a center that offers teachers and other educational professional’s courses and workshops that effectively assist them in educating the whole child, while addressing the academic challenges incorporated in the higher expectations of both the National and New York State standards.
