Heinle Cengage Learning offers ELT Advantage online professional development courses for administrators, paraprofessionals, and teachers of English language learners of all ages. Participants will find practical courses focused on a wide variety of teaching methods, assessments, and technology based tools for working with English language learners from toddlers to adults. Participants will earn a TESOLĀ® Certificate of Completion for each TESOL-approved course successfully completed, and have the option of earning a Brandman University Certificate of Completion: Specialist in English Language Learning and Teaching after completing 10 courses in a twelve month period. - This course provides teachers with the principles of communicative teaching and offers useful methods for making students active participants in the learning process. - EDEU 9791 Developing Second/Foreign Language Listening Comprehension
- This course will cover a number of issues involved in helping learners to develop their listening comprehension of English as a second or foreign language. With the help of examples, exercises, and a full lesson template, students will examine a number of traditional and more recent approaches to teaching foreign language listening.
