Maharishi Ayurvedic Medicine: Mother-Baby
Health Care Certificate
The 14 credit undergraduate certificate in Maharishi Ayurvedic Medicine: Mother-Baby Health Care is designed for health professionals working with mothers and babies, or who want to learn effective, natural approaches to the prevention and treatment of imbalances as the basis of disease using elements missing from current healthcare education.
The purpose of this certificate is to provide health care professionals with the knowledge and skills to assist women through pregnancy, post-partum, and the first year of an infant’s life. Focuses are on disease prevention, maintaining a balance in life, and providing a foundation for a healthy lifestyle for children and families. Ayur-Vedic can be used in addition to current practice or as a home care treatment program for new mothers. These courses are taught online.
Students enrolled in a certificate program only are not eligible for financial aid. Courses taken after completion of a degree program in order to complete the certificate are not eligible for financial aid.
