Learning Environment & Methodology
Curriculum for our certificate programs, seminars and workshops is designed to utilize multiple modalities that recognize the needs of different learners. The learning environment is interactive and experiential. Auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning is incorporated and delivery methods include lecture, games and simulations, individual exercises, group activities, case studies and practice sessions.
Instructors/Curriculum
Curriculum is designed, developed and delivered by a team of instructors with solid business backgrounds, significant organization leadership experience and specific subject matter expertise. Content is continually updated to reflect current methodology and best practices. LSP instructors are also qualified on their presentation skills and have considerable experience teaching higher education courses as well as developing and conducting training sessions for a variety of organizations.
Workplace application
The focus of our leadership development programs is immediate application in the workplace. Participants learn practical leadership tools, tips and techniques they apply to workplace issues and situations via an Individual Development Plan (IDP). Support and accountability for creating and implementing an IDP is provided by participating in classroom “learning teams” and meeting weekly with an internal sponsor. Participants select a leadership challenge to work on throughout the program, develop weekly action plans, identify success factors and report on the results during a Capstone presentation.
