Dr. Brandi Davis Mills
Dr. Brandi Davis Mills is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Arts and Sciences at Brandman University and served as an Associate Dean for the School of Arts and Sciences from 2011-2013. Dr. Davis Mills is responsible for supporting faculty and students, academic programs, assessment of student learning, online campus scheduling, General Education program development, , curriculum teams, and academic committees. She is personally dedicated to improving the quality of online teaching and learning at Brandman through engagement and scholarship with the adjunct faculty members she supports.
Dr. Davis Mills has a lifetime history of supporting education and the development of humanity, locally and globally, through participation in such organizations as Phi Delta Kappa International, Women for Women International, Women Leaders Forum, Community Conversations, American Association of Academic Deans (ACAD), American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), and as a volunteer in Tanzania with the Karimu International Help Foundation. Her desire to understand Hutterite women and their educational beliefs lead to her doctoral dissertation.
Prior to her current role with Brandman, Brandi Davis Mills previously served in academic leadership positions at a public school district where she wrote and facilitated multimillion dollar technology integration grants that brought hardware and new ways of teaching and learning to K-12 students and teachers. Dr. Davis Mills earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Minot State University (ND), her Bachelor of Arts in Education from California State University, San Bernardino, and her Ed.D. in Administration and Leadership and Educational Technology from La Sierra University (CA).
Brandi Davis Mills resides in a small mountain town in Southern California with her husband, son, daughter, and pets.
