Bio

I taught high school science classes in Los Angeles, and junior high science classes in the former Grant school district in Sacramento. I have also taught science lessons in my daughter's elementary classes for the last few years. Additionally, I have worked with special needs students through a variety of outside programs including Saddle Pals and Adapted Aquatics. This last school year, I taught a period of high school biology in the San Juan district in the Sacramento area each morning.

Scholarly Activities

Serve on the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing's Board of Institutional Reviewers. I have also served on a variety of state and local task forces and panels.
