Candidates should have:

- Ph.D. in Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Licensure in State of California
- Clinical experience
- Experience with distance learning and academic technology
- Teaching experience at both graduate and undergraduate levels
- Knowledge of the Sacramento Valley area
