Bio

I served as a teacher, principal and district office administrator in K-12 education for over 30 years in both public and private schools. In addition, I am the CEO of a Dr. Raymond Hurst Consulting Services, specializing in helping special needs children and their families. I am a published author as well as a professional speaker and consultant. I began as an adjunct faculty with Chapman University in 2000, and became a full time faculty with Brandman University in 2009. I am the co-developer of the CTC-approved Autism Added Authorization program at Brandman University. I am a recognized expert in Autism Spectrum Disorders and in Inquiry-Based instructional strategies. My wife and I are the parents of four adult children and twelve grandchildren. I am a professional musician and composer
