Suzanne Yockelson
Bio

Suzanne Yockelson, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Brandman University. Along with teaching special education courses, Dr. Yockelson assisted with the development of programs and classes in Early Childhood Special Education and Early Childhood Education.   She received her Ph.D.  from the University of Oregon in Special Education: Early Intervention and remained on faculty in the College of Education at the University of Oregon until her move to California in 2007.    Dr. Yockelson provides training and technical assistance throughout the United States and Canada on best practices in screening and assessment and is a co-developer of the ASQ:SE.  She works with counties across the state on a number of initiatives including the training of pediatricians and health care providers on development, disabilities and early childhood mental health.
