Applying For Financial Aid

	Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 2 Use Federal School Code: 041618.
	Undergraduate students residing in California may apply for a Cal Grant. Submit the GPA Verification Form to the California Student Aid Commission by March 2.
	Apply for admission to Brandman University.
	Check mail and your Brandman e-mail for additional information requests.
	Complete an education plan with your advisor and be sure to keep it updated. This information will be used in awarding your financial aid.
	Check status of your financial aid awards on WebAdvisor.
	Accept or decline funds that have been awarded to you on WebAdvisor.
	Upon acceptance of loans, complete Entrance Counseling and sign a Master Promissory Note.

	Complete forms in entirety, accurately and in a timely manner.
	When filling out the FAFSA, use the IRS data transfer option if possible to streamline processing.
	Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
	Remember to file the FAFSA every year.
	Contact your campus one-stop student services for questions regarding your aid and keep them informed of changes to your course load and which terms you will attend.
	Complete loan Exit Counseling any time you have a break in your enrollment.
