Make sure to submit your admissions package just before or after you’ve completed your FAFSA. Financial awards are disbursed after you begin attending classes.

Every student should complete the FAFSA. It becomes available each year in January, and Brandman’s application deadline is March 2. Visit Student Aid on the Web for details. New FAFSA documents must be submitted each academic year.

• Obtain a PIN at the Department of Education PIN Registration site
• Complete your FAFSA, which is your access to all federal financial aid programs including grants and work-study. It’s easy, and you can apply online. Use Brandman’s Federal School Code: 041618.
• After processing your FAFSA documentation, your eligibility for all types of assistance will be determined and notification of your award – which may consist of assistance from several financial aid programs – will come from Brandman’s Financial Aid Office.

Note: Californians who are undergraduates are urged to also complete the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form.

Contact your One Stop advisor with questions, and be sure to keep us updated about changes to your course load and which terms you will be attending. This information will impact your financial aid award.

Your employer may have a tuition matching program or help pay for a portion of your education. Check with your Human Resources/ Benefits department.

Scholarships and grants need not be repaid and may be merit-based, need-based, or awarded due to your background, place of residence or course of study. Below are links to help you search.

If you are on active duty, a veteran or a military family member, you may be entitled to tuition assistance and education benefits. We can help with all types of military aid.

Once you have a university PIN, you can check the status of your financial aid awards on MyBrandman. Also, be sure to check your mail and your Brandman e-mail for additional information requests related to your aid application. If you have been awarded a loan, prior to disbursement of any financial aid awards due to you, you will be asked to complete our Loan Entrance Counseling and a federal master promissory note.
