The Director of Assessment and Faculty/Student Affairs is a non-tenured track, fulltime faculty position. The position reports to the Dean of Ameritas College. This position is located at the Brandman Campus in Ontario, California.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving, conflict resolution, time management and consensus building skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have highly developed skills in planning, organizing and conducting complex analyses and interpretation of information. A commitment to working with Latino students is required. Experience with dual-language or ESL programs is preferred.
Effective date of appointment: June 1, 2012
Candidates should have:

Responsibilities of Brandman University College Faculty include teaching, program development and assessment; mentoring adjunct faculty and students; and service to the university and community. Research is not required but is supported.
The successful candidates for the faculty positions will possess an earned doctorate with higher education teaching experience and a commitment to working with adult students. The ideal candidate will have:
- Doctorate in Ed Leadership or related discipline
- California Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential (P-12)
- At least 10 years of experience as a school and district level administrator, developing innovative programs to improve student learning and professional development for teachers
- Experience in Higher Education, teaching at the Masters or Doctoral level.
- Experience with distance learning and academic technology
- Recognized leader in field of Education and Organizational Leadership
- Experience with WASC, CTC and/or NCATE accreditation is desirable
- Expertise in research methods is desirable
- Strong speaking and writing skills
The faculty member will be responsible for oversight/instruction of graduate courses within the Administrative Services Credential and Masters of Educational Leadership Programs. The position will supervise and support adjunct faculty within several credential and Masters programs at our distributed campuses. All Brandman University Faculty positions are non-tenure track, and generally hired in at the rank of assistant professor. Full-time positions offer competitive salaries. This position is effective August 2012.

The Associate Dean position is a non-tenured, fulltime faculty position with administrative duties. The position reports to the Dean. This position is located at the Brandman campus in Irvine, California. We offer competitive salaries with generous benefits.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in academic administration in the health sciences, including recruiting, hiring, and mentoring part-time academic and clinical faculty, as well as excellent problem solving, project management and consensus building skills. This position includes teaching two courses per year and maintaining currency in clinical practice.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A DNP, DNSc, or PhD in Nursing or related field
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of California
- Two or more years of experience in academic administration
