Presently, Teresa is the Vice Chancellor of Marketing & Communications. She's held the position of Interim Vice Chancellor of Marketing & Communications since September 2011 and has been consulting to Brandman University since March 2011. In this capacity she oversees a staff of 18, manages a $12 million marketing budget and manages three agencies. In this time she has developed a strategy to support enrollment growth while focusing on the quality of all lead generation efforts.
Teresa has an extensive background in marketing, particularly in direct response, online and performance based marketing. In her last executive leadership position as the Vice President of Marketing for Corinthian Colleges, Inc (a publically held company in the for profit post secondary education), Teresa built a team of 50 marketing professionals and managed a $175 million marketing budget. She was responsible for overseeing all lead generation activities for 110+ schools. Her over sight included DRTV, newsprint, direct mail, radio and all online efforts. She also oversaw the development of a new web site and introduced a social media strategy around Facebook and LinkedIn to serve as a dynamic customer service, retention and referral pipeline.
Early in her career, Teresa managed retention and acquisition efforts for the Personal Card division of American Express and became the first Director of Database Services marketing where she coordinated the design and implementation of a new prospect relational database supporting all Card acquisition efforts. She is vastly familiar with all traditional and online direct marketing approaches. As Chief Marketing Officer for IGN Entertainment for over three years she assisted in taking the Company public and the web site ign.com is one of the largest sites for gamers in terms of visitors and page views. The site is now owned and operated by FOX Interactive.
Teresa has a B.A. in Government from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
