Admissions & Steps to Enrollment

STEP 1: APPLY FOR ADMISSION

Fill out an application online.

STEP 2: GATHER ALL DOCUMENTATION NEEDED FOR ADMISSION

  • You will need your Military ID and all pertinent information provided to you by your ESO.
  • Understand Your Transfer-Credit Opportunities.
  • Request Transcripts from previously attended institutions.

STEP 3: WORK WITH AN ADVISOR ON YOUR ENROLLMENT PLAN

STEP 4: VISIT GoArmyEd TO APPLY FOR TUITION ASSISTANCE

GoArmyEd is a gateway to the Army Continuing Education System. Soldiers who plan to get an education by tapping into the Army Tuition Assistance program can find all the information they’ll need on money, schools and setting goals at GoArmyEd.

The TA program provides funds for off-duty education programs for active-duty officers, warrant officers and enlisted soldiers.

Also eligible are Active Guard and Reserve, National Guard and Army Reserve soldiers who have been activated under Titles 10 or 32 of federal law.

Soldiers can go online to request financial aid for classroom studies, distance learning or EarmyU online courses.

Active-duty soldiers are required to establish specific education goals (degree or credential), and they must sign a TA Statement of Understanding, have the statement signed by their commander, and then submit it to their local education center for approval.

STEP 5: REGISTER FOR COURSES

As a new student, your academic advisor will counsel you on your program requirements, help you through the registration process and set you up for your first term. For subsequent terms you will be notified by the Registrar of your registration date and allowed to register for courses on your own.
