2014 meant more Extended Education courses
Brandman University School of Extended Education continued to grow in value, number of students and number or programs launched in 2014.

In 2014, the school provided programming for more than 14,000 students in open enrollment programs and 20 corporate clients.
New programs launched:
- Nonprofit management certificate
- Social media recruitment certificate
Leadership specialties launched:
- Workplace violence prevention
- Managing risk in the hiring process
- Becoming conflict competent
- Leadership, gender and emotional intelligence
- Neuroscience of leadership
A high school pilot program launched with Excelsior Charter schools system in conjunction with School of Arts & Sciences.
The School of Extended Education’s IT certificates received the University Profession & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) West Engagement Award. The association serves 400 institutions, including most of the leading public and private colleges and universities in North America, by building awareness, particularly in the public policy arena.
