Brandman selected as Best Value School
Brandman University President Chancellor Gary Brahm accepted the Best Value School Award trophy from University Research & Review founder Joseph Schmoke on March 6, 2015. The award is the culmination of a nomination process open to nearly 8,000 post-secondary schools.
University Research & Review is dedicated to improving the process of how a student selects a postsecondary school. A committee made up of former university presidents, CEOs, provosts and professors reviewed more than 100 nominees culled from more than 2,600 colleges and universities.
Brandman University was chosen because it passed rigorous standards including a combination of cost, accreditation, variety and quality of school programs.
“Our committee prides itself on combining our extensive experience, knowledge of postsecondary education and insight into what provides students with good value when selecting a Best Value School award recipient,” said Schmoke.
Schmoke was particularly impressed with Brandman University’s successful efforts to improve informing students about financial aid options.
“We are honored to be chosen,” said Brahm. “We are a student-centric university. Helping prospective students find the program that fits their needs and then guiding them through the application, enrollment and attendance process has always been an important mission for Brandman University.”
Brandman University will retain the Best Value School designation for one year. Award recipients must re-qualify every year.
