Brandman teams up for Blind Children’s Learning Center

LionsMoodianDr. Margaret Moodian, who joined the board of directors of the Blind Children’s Learning Center in December, spoke on behalf of the organization to the Harbor Mesa Lions Club on Monday, April 6. The Harbor Mesa Lions donated more than $15,000 to charitable organizations this year and one of those recipients was the Blind Children’s Learning Center in North Tustin.

Massiel Pérez, admission service representative, is organizing a Brandman team for the center’s 11th annual Destination Independence 5K Walk on Saturday, May 16. More information is available on the center’s website or by contacting Moodian or Perez.

In addition to the Blind Children’s Learning Center, Moodian serves on the Tias Arms board of directors and is a volunteer with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), working with foster youth.
