ANA CMO Challenge comes to Brandman
Three leaders in the world of marketing are coming to Brandman University's Irvine campus to talk with MBA students about the future of marketing.
Beginning Monday, Mark Azarkman, Iwona Alter, Teylez Perez will spend time with students in Gerry Mazur’s Marketing Management course, a core requirement for MBA students at Brandman. In addition to reviewing their own experiences as leaders of marketing departments, they’ll be answering questions and connecting the value of marketing education to their brands.
Azarkman is the vice president of Marketing and Brand for Curacao, the leading Hispanic retailer company for consumer electronics and appliances. He meets with students Nov. 6.
Alter is the vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO) for Jack in the Box. She oversees product marketing, which includes regional marketing, menu strategy and culinary innovation. She’ll meet with marketing students on Nov. 13.
Perez is the former vice president of Marketing and Advertising at Curacao and recently joined Pantaya – Lionsgate (a Spanish-language video streaming service) as senior vice president of marketing. Perez is scheduled for Nov. 27.
The series is part of “CMO Talent Challenge” offered by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), which is making talent development and training a top priority this year. The speakers in the Brandman series were contacted by Brandman’s Marketing Department, led by Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Marketing Officer Roger Lee, a longtime member of ANA.
