Ed.D. graduates gather for hooding ceremony
Graduates from Brandman’s Ed.D. program gathered in Irvine for the traditional hooding ceremony before the Southern Commencement exercises. Families and friends enjoyed touching speeches from graduates as they took the final step in their Ed.D. program. The completion of the Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership is the highest honor that can be earned academically at Brandman. Congratulations graduates!
Darin Hand: The energy in the room I, I wish you could just… bottle it up and send it out so that people would understand what a great program this is.
Jacqueline Kearns: A culmination of a lot of Dreams coming through right now.
Debra Moysychyn: I told my kids have to call me dr. mom… yeah they’re not into that.
Michaelle Knight: I am the first of 13 children to get a bachelor’s degree and the first to get a master’s degree and the first to obtain the doctorate so this is a historical moment for me and my family.
Michelle Harmeier: Because I am a different person, I am a different leader now than I was three years ago when I started this program and my organization has benefited from this, my family and friends have, and I have so it is definitely worth the journey.
Jezelle Alezr: Having that cohort experience we have these lifelong friendships and connections that will never go away because we all did this together as a team and we really are family.
Nick Arman: In many of my roles that I have gained throughout my life as a newly Brandman alum, as a doctor, as a veteran, as a brother, as a son, my favorite of all is being a husband and a father.
So with this wonderful opportunity as we celebrate one of the most incredible feats in our lives, under one roof of becoming doctors, I would like to tell all of you that I love you, all of you.
