Autumn McClenaghan, director of Career Planning and Development at Brandman’s Irvine campus, was a co-presenter at the UPCEA  2015 Summit for Online Leadership & Strategy in San Antonio, Texas.

Her topic was “A Comprehensive Approach to Career Development for Adult Students.” She and her co-presenters from Golden Gate University and UC Davis provided information about how various institutes serve adult, professional and graduate students and incorporate career development into every stage in the student life cycle.

The panelists discussed how to leverage a comprehensive career development  program from recruitment and enrollment to maximizing learning and engagement in the classroom to graduation and beyond. In addition to sharing strategies and best practices for launching a comprehensive program, they discussed challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
