Taste of Immersion’s keynote speaker will discuss ‘Choosing Higher Ground’ in business
Brandman University’s Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership program will welcome Mike Weisman, author of “Choosing High Ground. Working and living in the values economy,” as the keynote speaker at this winter’s Taste of Immersion.
The School of Education hosts the event for potential students when current doctoral students from throughout the United States gather in Orange County, California, for intensive full-day sessions. The Taste of Immersion will be from 7 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel, 18000 Von Karman, Irvine, California. Anyone interested in earning a doctorate in organizational leadership is welcome.
Weisman’s keynote speech will discuss exploring the world of values-based leadership and personal growth. The speaker is the founder of The Values Institute and Chief Executive Officer of Amusement Park, a full-service marketing and advertising agency located in Santa Ana, California.
Participants will also enjoy a continental breakfast, a short Q& A session following the speech and have the opportunity to meet Ed.D students, faculty and cohort mentors.
Virtual information sessions will be held at Brandman’s Bremerton and Walnut Creek campuses. Remote participants will check-in at 8:30 a.m. to view a live stream of the keynote speech at 9 a.m. A faculty and alumni chat will follow the speech.
