Brandman University to Offer Undergraduate Degree Programs at MiraCosta College

Three undergraduate degree programs will be offered on the grounds of MiraCosta College's Oceanside Campus

Irvine, Calif. (May 19, 2014) —Brandman University, a private nonprofit institution, recently entered into a partnership with MiraCosta College to offer three undergraduate degree programs on the MiraCosta College Oceanside Campus. This site will help to better serve students seeking an undergraduate degree in Northern San Diego County.

“Providing seamless pathways for students to complete bachelor degrees through community partnerships is part of the fabric of the Brandman University vision and mission,” said Gray Brahm, chancellor of Brandman University. “This allows students a convenient and flexible option to purse a 4-year degree.”

“MiraCosta College is proud to engage in an educational partnership with Brandman University that extends accessible and high quality learning opportunities for our students, staff and local community,” said MiraCosta College Superintendent/President Dr. Francisco Rodriquez.

Brandman University will offer a bachelor of arts in liberal studies with an emphasis on integrated California multiple subjects teaching credential, a bachelor of arts in liberal studies in multiple subjects teaching and a bachelor of arts in early childhood education.

Classes will be taught in a blended format (on-ground and online) so students can fulfill the demands of their busy schedule while achieving their education and career goals. Brandman University’s co-location at MiraCosta College is conveniently located off the 78 freeway on the MiraCosta College Oceanside Campus (1 Barnard Drive).
