OAK HARBOR, Wash. (April 23, 2014) — Brandman University’s Whidbey Island campus will hold commencement on Wednesday, April 30 at 1 pm at the Elks Lodge (155 NE Ernst St, Oak Harbor). Forty graduates are expected to attend.
Angie Ingram of Oak Harbor will receive three master’s degrees (psychology, organizational leadership and human resources). “I never thought I’d even go to college, much less have three graduate degrees,” said Ingram. The current outpatient clinician for Compass Health is a mother of three and a Navy veteran. Her husband is active duty Navy. Ingram will address her classmates after being selected as the student commencement speaker. Also scheduled to speak is Dr. Glenn Worthington, dean of the School of Business and Professional Studies.
Graduates Janisha Rico and Eric Gross will perform the Star-Spangled Banner.
Over 250 guests are expected to attend the ceremony.
