LACEY, Wash. (May 17, 2012) - Brandman University and the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) announced today a partnership that will allow Washington State employees and affiliates to pursue graduate and undergraduate degrees at a special scholarship rate. Employees who decide to further their education will receive a scholarship valued at approximately $70 per unit (undergraduate programs) and $85 per unit (graduate programs).
Program offerings are available at all of Brandman’s Washington State campuses - Bangor Naval Base Kitsap, Ft. Lewis, Lacey, McChord AFB, Whidbey Island and online. However, nursing programs, certificate programs, and doctorate programs are not eligible for the scholarship.
David Norman, Program Manager, Learning Delivery Programs for the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services said, “DES is excited to partner with Brandman University to the benefit of Washington State employees. Through this partnership, state government employees will be able to access quality training at lower costs. They have the opportunity to make progress toward degrees and improve their opportunity at advancement while enhancing their ability to deliver services to the citizens of Washington State.”
