Renee P. McLeod PhD, APRN-BC, CPNP, FAANP
Dr. Renee McLeod is the founding Dean and Professor of the Marybelle and S. Paul Musco School of Nursing and Health Professions at Brandman University, part of the Chapman University system. She has been a pediatric nurse practitioner for over 35 years, and maintains an active practice in San Diego where her patients tell her what is really important in the field of healthcare. She received her BSN from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis, TN; her MSN from the University of California, San Francisco, and her PhD from Widener University in Pennsylvania. Her research and practice interests include how technology is being used to transform practice, and patient compliance with medications for children and infants with TB and skin conditions. She is a national and international consultant on application of technology to clinical practice, infant skin care, nursing education and curricular design for implementing the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She practices at Mid-City Pediatric Clinic in San Diego.
