As the director of the Adult and Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program, Dr. Kiresuk is looking forward to working closely with students in small cohorts to promote an environment of mutual learning. She cannot wait to see Brandman University Graduates serve as leaders in health care. Dr. Kiresuk believes nursing and health professions are key players in the development of successful systems to meet the needs of the inadequately insured, chronically ill, and elderly populations.
A certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner for over 15 years, Dr. Kiresuk has extensive teaching experience working with adult and geriatric nurse practitioner students. She comes to Brandman from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota where she was the option coordinator for the Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Track, coordinator for the Second Specialty Option Bridge Program, and served on the committee for the development of the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University. Dr. Kiresuk maintains a clinical practice in St. Paul, Minnesota providing home delivered primary care and advanced care management to seniors living in the community at high risk for hospitalization or nursing home admission.
