As the Director of the Pediatric, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program, Mackenburg-Mohn looks forward to witnessing each class of successful graduates move forward with their education, satisfied with their time at Brandman. Her greatest reward is seeing her students feel successful in their roles. She foresees tremendous growth for her program, specifically due to the frequency of nurse practitioners being asked to expand their roles.
Mackenburg-Mohn believes in the structure of education at Brandman University. She feels the blended model provides adult learners with the best educational experience possible. Mackenburg-Mohn foresees a significant increase in the demand for advanced practice nursing and believes Brandman is one of the few universities prepared to meet the needs of the single largest group of healthcare providers in our country.
