Brandman University has teamed up with numerous organizations for a career event that job seekers will not want to miss. The event is being held at the Visalia campus on Wednesday, January 30, from 9AM – 5PM (649 South County Center Drive). The event is free and open to the public.

 

“This event brings together a wealth of resources for job seekers, as well as area companies that have open positions they need to fill,” said event organizer Alexandria Elliott, Community Relations Manager for Brandman University. “With unemployment remaining a major issue in the Visalia area, we want to provide meaningful resources for the community - that is a large part of our mission as a non-profit university.”

 

In addition to resources for the public there will be special assistance for unemployed Veterans. Companies that will be on-hand with current openings include Lowe’s, Times Delta Media Group, Alar Staffing, State Farm Insurance, Home Depot, and more. Hamilton recommends professional dress for job seekers who will attend because these companies will conduct on-the-spot interviews.
