Special Education Level II Education Specialist Professional Moderate/Severe Credential
This program builds on the knowledge gained during a student's Level I training to help pave the way for further professional growth. In the Level II Education Specialist Professional Moderate/Severe Credential program students learn advanced special education methods through coursework the development of a career portfolio.
This unique program is designed to promote educational practices that lead to positive outcomes for youth students. The combined Ed.S., School Psychology and MA, Education Psychology with Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology (PPSP) program prepares graduates to serve as knowledgeable, skilled and reflective school psychologists in California public schools, grades K-12.
Master of Arts in Education, Professional Learning Community
This program is designed for educators with the common goal to work collaboratively to enhance their effectiveness as professionals to positively impact learning. The Master of Arts in Education with a Professional Learning Community emphasis focuses on analyzing the teacher as a scholarly practitioner, and engaging in action research while giving the students further opportunity for customizing elective courses that align with group goals.
Master of Arts in Education, Teaching and Learning
This program is designed to help students develop the skills necessary to become a mentor, curriculum leader or college instructor in teacher preparation programs. The Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning will provide students with a global perspective on the purposes of education and apply learning theories to educational settings and to curriculum design. Graduates will be able to effectively evaluate, use and generate research to move the field of education forward.
