The combined Ed.S., School Psychology and MA, Educational Psychology with Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology (PPSP) program prepares graduates to serve as knowledgeable, skilled and reflective school psychologists in California public schools, grades K-12.

This program is designed to help students develop the skills necessary to become a mentor, curriculum leader or college instructor in teacher preparation programs. The Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning will provide students with a global perspective on the purposes of education and apply learning theories to educational settings and to curriculum design. Graduates will be able to effectively evaluate, use and generate research to move the field of education forward.

Preliminary Education Specialist - Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe Credentials

This program prepares candidates to teach children and conduct educational assessments in K-12 learning environments. The Preliminary Education Specialist - Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe Credentials focus on individuals with varying levels of intellectual limitations, autism, other health impairments, mild emotional disturbances, and multiple disabilities.

Master of Arts in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy

The program is designed to help students acquire a broad-based knowledge of psychology in its historical and cultural contexts, both as an empirical science of human behavior and as a foundation for a professional career in human services. The Master of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy includes a substantial experimental component in which the student works under supervision in an approved counseling site.
