The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® has approved the following course sequence as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Examination®. Applicants will have to meet additional requirements to qualify. This five-course sequence covers the Fourth Edition and is offered by the College of Applied Human Services, a partner of Brandman University. This is not professional certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and does not entitle candidates to claim they are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA's).

BER Instructor-Led Online Courses

Brandman University awards 1 or 2 semester hours of graduate level professional development credit based upon successful completion of course requirements. These credits are not part of a degree program but instead are primarily used for professional advancement such as salary increment steps and recertification.

SDE Online Courses

Brandman University awards 1 or 2 semester hours of graduate level professional development credit based upon successful completion of course requirements. These credits are not part of a degree program but instead are primarily used for professional advancement such as salary increment steps and recertification.

Rachel's Challenge Annual Summit

Earn Professional Development Credit for Attending the Rachel's Challenge Summit

The purpose of this course is to allow educators to earn graduate level professional development credits. Brandman University will award 1, 2, or 3 semester units of credit based upon satisfactory completion of course and summit session requirements. Allow a minimum of 15 hours work per credit. Work will be submitted on our online platform.

PayTrain Certification Exam Preparation

In cooperation with the American Payroll Association, the PayTrain Fundamentals and Mastery courses are ideal for seasoned professionals interested in advancing their careers or sitting for a certification exam, as well as for new hires seeking an understanding of the industry.

Practical Payroll Online Series

The objective of this program is to instruct the payroll professional in all facets of payroll from the basics of What are wages? to the intricate complexity of fringe benefits taxation and garnishments.  Depending on the current experience of the student, its objective is to teach the solid skills and knowledge of payroll rules and regulations to the beginner and to increase or refresh the skills of the more experienced student. 
 

Certificate in Nonprofit Management

For those interested in leadership roles and for those who work with leaders in the nonprofit sector, this program is designed specifically to prepare participants for staff leadership positions within nonprofit organizations. Focusing on the advancement of nonprofit mission, this program covers strategic governance, nonprofit business design and development, target market and trend analysis, assessing client needs, effective program design principles and continuous process improvement.
