For those interested in leadership roles and for those who work with leaders in the nonprofit sector, this program is designed specifically to prepare participants for staff leadership positions within nonprofit organizations. Focusing on the advancement of nonprofit mission, this program covers strategic governance, nonprofit business design and development, target market and trend analysis, assessing client needs, effective program design principles and continuous process improvement. In addition, participants learn "best practice" tools in resource development strategies, financial management, personnel leadership, human resources issues and technology.
This 12-session course, offered Spring and Fall, examines the fundamental operating principles of a nonprofit business and analyzes practical and proven management techniques along with less traditional, more innovative strategies designed to address management issues in the 21st Century. 4.7 CEUs.
