The instructor will discuss dish capabilities, satellite dish reflectors, cabling, amplifiers, satellite dish feedhorns, satellite system installation and site surveys. After you take this course, you will have a clear understanding of basic satellite communications and become familiar with common terminology. 1.6 CEUs (16 Hours)

This course discusses and demonstrates theory and practical aspects of satellite receivers - digital technology, interfacing, troubleshooting, repairs, sun outage and safety.
