Disability Services

Brandman University provides information and resources to students with disabilities. Services are available to students who have registered and present certified, current documentation of the disability from a medical or educational specialist. Registration is on a voluntary, self-identifying basis.

 

All information and documentation is confidential.

  • Volunteer peer note-taking
  • Special arrangements for test-taking
  • Tape-recorded lectures

To determine eligibility for and implementation of
accommodations, please contact your local campus.
Be prepared to submit the following items:

 

According to the Americans with Disabilities Act, an individual with disability is defined as having functional limitations resulting from a diagnosed disability and applies to an individual who:

  • has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the individual's major life activities;
  • has a record of such an impairment; or
  • is regarded as having such an impairment.
