Dr. Shelly Neal is the Vice Chancellor of Strategic Initiatives and an Adjunct Professor within the School of Business at Brandman University. She began working at Brandman University in 2006. Dr. Neal’s primary role is to generate enrollment growth strategies at Brandman’s 27 campuses. She is a member of Senior Staff and oversees the Strategic Business Development Division of the University.
Dr. Neal received her BA Degree from UC Santa Barbara, her Master’s Degree from Pepperdine University, and her Ph.D. from Alliant International University. Her areas of study and research include Psychology, Education and Business.
Her professional career has included working in the areas of Medical Device Manufacturing and Distribution, Software Implementation, Healthcare Consulting, Business Development and Management, and Higher Education. She has been an Adjunct Professor teaching at the graduate level since 1998 teaching courses in the area of Human Resource Management, Work Motivation and Productivity, Performance Appraisal, Law and Ethics, Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Change Management and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Dr. Neal has presented nationally, including at the annual conferences of American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, AACRAO and Noel Levitz. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of Recruiting and Retaining Adult Learners. She has been a Dissertation Committee member throughout her career.
