Biography

Jeff is one of the Instructional Designers for Educational Media for all of Brandman University. He is charged with the development and improvement of dynamic learning content distributed in Brandman’s learning management system and quality asynchronous training used for the professional development of Brandman instructors. In collaboration with faculty, staff and fellow instructional designers within the Center for Instructional Innovation (CII), Jeff manages all course media projects from start to finish and utilizes extensive professional production experience to ensure the highest quality products are distributed to students and trainees.
Jeff has a Master of Fine Arts from Regent University and over 15 years of professional entertainment experience nationally. His time spent as an actor, director and producer have made him an expert on audience engagement. This, combined with over 10 years of experience in higher education, gives him a unique approach to instructional design, in that he understands what an audience of students needs to have a powerful, long-lasting, learning experience.
Jeff has always been driven by using the latest educational technology to inspire learning, both in himself and others. As a frequent trainer for the CII, both on and off camera, Jeff understands that an online program is only as good as the instructor’s ability to use the technology given to them to teach the class. All of the 200+ training videos and interactive eLearning modules he has created for Brandman since 2013 were made with this in mind.
