Nancy Salzman is the Vice Chancellor, Partnerships of the Office of Applied Innovation for Brandman University, a non-profit institution and a member of the Chapman University System. In her current position, Nancy develops strategic partnerships and furthers the development and utilization of the many Brandman innovative practices and applications.
Prior to her current position, Nancy spent 9 years as Brandman’s School of Extended Education dean. She provided the vision and leadership to build a nationally recognized team and school, which has become an integral part of the Brandman University strategic plan. During this period, the School of Extended Education won national awards recognizing its leadership programming and various other programs and individual team members as innovative leaders in their field.
Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a law degree from Loyola Marymount University. She practiced law for several years, lead a non-profit’s state-wide educational work, and taught at various universities.
At the national level, Nancy chairs the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) National Council for Online Education committee on innovation and has held various other positions with organizations across a variety of disciplines.
