Biography

Patricia Clark White has extensive leadership experience in both K-12 and higher education. She has served as teacher, school leader and district administrator, with more than 20 years of experience as a superintendent in three diverse districts in Southern California. She has led organizations through complex transformational change, using futures-based planning strategies and vigorous collaboration with stakeholders. Her experience in leveraging the political environment was turned into a book she co-wrote with colleagues, titled The Politically Intelligent Leader.
Dr. White also has more than 25 years of higher education experience characterized by innovation in program development, as well as teaching and learning at the highest levels. Her collaborative style with faculty and students is vision driven and emphasizes both support and accountability. Honored by her colleagues at the state, regional, and local levels, she is currently the associate dean for Brandman University, overseeing the Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership program and master's and credential programs in educational administration. She is an executive coach, organizational consultant, and frequent presenter and publisher on many significant topics in organizational leadership around the state and nation.
