Biography
Tammy Pao joined Brandman University as Tutorial Assistant Professor of Competency Based Education in the School for Business and Professional Studies in the fall of 2014. She has also served as a professional tutor in the Online Writing and Math Community at Brandman.
Tammy has experience as both an administrator and professor at the university and community college levels teaching courses in accounting, finance, business mathematics, operations and information technology. Prior to entering higher education, Tammy taught high school mathematics. She also worked in private industry in consulting, project management, finance and operations roles at AT&T Broadband, Merrill Lynch, New England Funds, Fidelity Investments, Mattel, Health Net, Harman International, Honeywell, and RJR Nabisco.
Tammy has Ph.D. in Education – Leadership Studies from Chapman University, an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Pepperdine University, a BS in Electrical Engineering from NC State University, and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics from Chapman University. Her dynamic teaching style and extensive corporate experience enable her to assist all levels of students in achieving their academic goals.
