Brandman University associate professor appointed by City Council to serve two-year term

Brandman University Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, Karin J. Storm, has been appointed to the Huntington Beach Personnel Commission. Her two-year appointment was approved by the Huntington Beach City Council by a 7-0 vote on Sept. 2. Dr. Storm begins her term immediately.

Brandman enters strategic partnership agreement with the American Society for Quality, Orange Empire

Brandman University’s School of Extended Education, one of five schools within Brandman University, well-recognized for its rich history of supporting adult learners, today announced its partnership with the Orange Empire Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), a global community of people passionate about quality.

Dr. George Byron Peraza-Smith is one of only 17 selected nationwide for AANP leadership program

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the largest national professional membership organization for nurse practitioners (NPs) of all specialties, has announced that Brandman University’s Dr. George Byron Peraza-Smith has been selected to participate in the prestigious AANP Future Leaders Program.

Holguin to begin post on September 2

Brandman University, a private nonprofit institution, has named Pamela Holguin as its Monterey Campus director. Holguin brings 14 years of higher education experience to her new position which begins Sept. 2.

Brandman is one of 145 schools nationwide to make the list

U.S. Veterans Magazine has named Brandman University to its list of Top Veteran-Friendly Schools for 2014. The magazine polled hundreds of colleges and universities for this year’s “Best of the Best” evaluations and Brandman University was one of 145 schools to make the list.
