BA in Communications and Media
Communications & Media Degree Overview
The Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media is designed to provide the expertise, skills and adaptability necessary to succeed in professional communications specializations. Graduates will be equipped with the skills required for communications positions in a variety of fields.
Students will:
- Create compelling stories that engage stakeholders across a variety of media platforms.
- Apply communication and social media strategies that are responsive to a culturally diverse global audience.
- Explore the basic elements of multimedia tools, communication formats and techniques.
- Interpret and explain information and data in meaningful ways to create strategic media campaigns.
- Design communications and media technology solutions to address community and global issues.

Admission Requirements
Applicants for this program must complete the formal application process with all required documents, which include:
- 12 or more transferable baccalaureate level credits or the equivalent
- Completed application
- Official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities attended
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
Only credits from regionally accredited institutions may be accepted in transfer. Failure to report any previous academic work at another college or university may be considered a violation of academic integrity.
Admissibility and minimum transfer credit awarded will be determined based on the Community College of the Air Force, SMART, AARTS or JST transcripts.
