Master of GIS and Data Analytics Program Overview

Emergency Management
This concentration in GIS and data analytics master program focuses on the problem-solving capabilities of Esri GIS technology and how to employ resources within public administration, law enforcement, disaster and environmental management. Students will gain insight into how to solve emergency response and recovery events using location intelligence and other resources.
Brandman’s Masters of GIS and Data Analytics will:
- Understand how to utilize spatial methods of organizing within data planning and managing in real-time, in many facets of public service
- Be equipped with strategies to respond to property and life-threatening situations within cities, states, government agencies and beyondsis
- Learn how to push for disaster preparedness and lead recovery efforts
