EdS in School Psychology with CTEL
Program Overview
The Ed.S. with PPSC emphasis in CTEL helps school psychology students understand multicultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds to better service non-English speaking students. English Language Learners (ELLs),who according to the California Department of Education (CDE), make up 22% of public school students.
Students with this emphasis will:
- Learn the importance of language structure and development
- Understand the methodology of bilingual instruction
- Become more culturally competent and aware of diversity
