NHCU 0064- Intro to Photovoltaics II

Intro to Photovoltaics II is a two-week (20 hour) course offered to individuals wanting to enter into the Solar Energy field.

Program Overview

Building on the skills provided by Intro to Photovoltaics I, Intro to Photovoltaics II not only delivers essential information needed to pass the ETA Entry Level Solar Installer Certification Exam, it also gives you a solid technical foundation to ensure that you can succeed on the job. We’ve added our own real-world, hand-on labs designed by expert instructor to give you experience with practical scenarios.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Inverter features, specifications and de-rate factors

  • Commissioning, operation and maintenance of a PV system

  • Electrical hazards and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Introduction to Safety (OSHA)

The tuition only covers administrative costs and nothing else is provided to the student.
