What Jobs Can I Get with my Degree?

Employees are the most valuable assets companies will ever have, which is why human resources professionals are the backbones of successful organizations. They are responsible for critical business functions including employee recruitment and staffing, payroll, benefits, and labor relations. Human resource workers contribute to every facet of a company’s workforce development program. Students graduating from the human resources bachelor’s degree program will likely find positions such as human resource specialists, training and development specialists, compensation and benefits managers, and human resource managers.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, human resource specialist and labor relations specialist jobs are expected to grow 7% from 2012 to 2022[1]. Within the field’s human resource management segment, job growth is expected at a rate of 13% through 2022[2]. Although human resource professionals will find work in a variety of trades, job opportunities will be best in the employment service industry which includes employment placement agencies, staffing agencies, and professional employer organizations[3]. Brandman University can help prepare students for these and many other exciting careers in the rewarding field of human resources.  If you want to explore other undergraduate programs at Brandman then consider an online degree in finance, marketing, organizational communication, or even supply chain systems.
