As a student, you will:

  • Develop strong leadership abilities.
  • Understand every aspect of business practice, including financial reporting, data analytics, marketing management, organizational leadership and process innovation.
  • Illustrate your knowledge by writing and presenting comprehensive business plans that cover all dimensions of corporate strategies.
  • Develop the skills needed to succeed as a product manager, lifecycle marketing manager, senior manager of integrated business planning, and director-level positions in marketing communications.

What Jobs Can I Get with My Degree?

Marketing professionals can be found in a variety of industries and promote everything from consumer products to specialty services. Many graduates will go on to work in advertising agencies and public relations firms, while others may find meaningful work in jobs as product managers, lifecycle marketing managers, senior managers of integrated business planning, and director-level positions in marketing communications.  In some occupations, individuals may work closely with influential stakeholders such as other directors, sales agents, and financial departments to take an idea and bring it to fruition. Those with many years of experience under their belts may even qualify for advancing within their companies to senior leadership openings as vice presidents.

One of the fastest growing jobs in the marketing field that some graduates may consider is as a market research analyst. These valuable professionals study market conditions to examine potential sales of a product or service by helping companies to understand what products consumers want, who will by them, and at what price. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the job outlook for this type of position is expected to grow 32% by 2022 [1]. This employment growth is driven by an increased use of data in market research across all industries. Alternative positions include advertising, promotions, and marketing managers who plan programs to generate interest for brands. The Bureau projects these types of positions to grow 12% within the same economic period [2].  These individuals can work within creative teams, digital teams, as well as operations to design and track the progress of effective marketing campaigns. No matter which career paths students take, Brandman University’s MBA in marketing will prepare them to achieve their personal and professional goals.
