The Common Core standards are clear with regard to the importance of student interaction in classrooms. To maximize learning, students must be actively engaged during instruction and interact with each other frequently in ways that are productive. This does not happen automatically. This session will provide specific methods for structuring student interaction during any lesson in ways that dramatically enhance learning and add energy and fun for students and teachers.
