Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies Overview
The liberal studies pre-credential program allows you to earn a bachelor’s degree and prepare for entry into post-baccalaureate, multiple-subject credential programs or other California elementary school teaching credential programs. Whether you learn on campus or fully online, you will examine education from a variety of perspectives, explore child development as it relates to learning and teaching, and conduct applied research projects. Courses are aligned with Common Core and other California state standards.
- Multiple subjects include: language arts, natural sciences, mathematics, visual and performing arts, history, human development, physical education and health.
- You will be introduced to the range of school options, including public, private, charter and home-schooling.
