TECU 0004: Fiber Optics Installer Level II

Fiber Optics Installer II is a two-week (20 hour) course. Building on the skills provided in Fiber Optics Installer Level I, Fiber Optics Installer Level II not only delivers essential information needed to pass the ETA CFOI exam, it also gives you a solid technical foundation to ensure that you can succeed on the job. We’ve added our own real-world, hands-on labs designed by expert instructors to give you experience with practical scenarios, including issues involved when you expand the switched network from a small to medium network environment.

Upon successful completion of the “hands-on” Skills Testing portion of the course, you may take the 75 question, multiple choice ETA CFOI exam. You must receive a passing score of 75% or better (19 wrong or less) on the written exam and pass the Skills Testing portion of the course to earn your certification as a Fiber Optics Installer through this program. Upon completion, you will obtain knowledge of basic concepts for installing, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and serving fiber optic systems.
