David Gonzalez, Jr., M.A. has been appointed to the position of Assistant Professor of Public Administration & Organizational Leadership in the School of Business and Professional Studies at the Irvine Campus beginning Fall I, 2014.  David has served as an adjunct faculty member with Brandman University since January 2014.

Prior to employment as a full-time faculty member, David taught Criminal Justice, Forensics and Public Service Careers as a Career Technical Educator.  Prior to starting his teaching career, David served in the police service as a Police Jailer, Community Service Officer/Traffic Investigator, and Emergency Communication Officer.  He remains in part-time service at his police agency in Emergency Communications where he functions as project manager for the department’s social media program.

David holds a B.S. in Human Development, an M.A. in Organizational Leadership, and is a Public Administration doctoral candidate completing dissertation.  David is active in his community where he serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, as Chief Operations Officer of Mosaic Whittier (a non-profit organization), and when there is free time, he appreciates live music of all sorts, and hiking.
